Hi classmates! Zhi Hui here. I’ve taken some photos on my first trip to the Student Care Centre (Henderson) so here are some simple instructions on how to get there

Firstly, walk. No seriously, take a bus from side gate (without crossing bridge). Bus number? 961. Wait. And then board the bus.

Personally, I think it would be a rather long ride so don’t get too ‘kanchiong’ and keep pressing the bus bells. When you’re nearing the bus stop, you would pass by Gan Eng Seng Primary School & Bukit Merah Community Centre.

And when it’s the right bus-stop, you would see this petrol station across the road looking like this:

Alright! Get off the bus.

Right when you get off the bus, turn right (pun not intended! Don’t get confused!) and walk straight. Cross the road, safely please And continue walking straight. Walk under the HDB flats. Here are some pictures of us walking (if they really enthuse you..)

(Yes, along the way, there’s some construction works that looks similar to the above..)

Alright. at the end of the block, you would see on your right some green tracks. Walk on them please. They look like this:

Walk towards the playground. And just continue walking (zzz. This is getting boring. Why do i have to keep mentioning ‘walking’?)

Continue on the tracks.Alright! You’ll see another playground on the side while you’re walking. (Note to self: This is like nirvana for those people with strong inner child man..)kkay. Move on! TADAAAAA! you’ll see the Student Care Centre! Looks something like this!If you reach there earlier, you can really just go in and start helping out earlier! (P.S: Arranged timeslot 4-5.30pm but you can go earlier!

Once you’re done, if you’re taking MRT home, the nearest MRT station is Tiong Bahru. Walk towards Zhangde Primary School (which you’ll need to cross the road) and try to follow the crowd. The Tiong Bahru Plaza (with the MRT Station) is really nearby. Ask for directions if you need help cause i dont know how to direct on this part. Sorry..)

To end off, I just want to say that I hope everyone would have a happy, enjoyable and most importantly, fulfilling time there, which i believe the group of us who went on the 1st week certainly did. Remember, what you’re doing is not for clocking of CIP hours, but it’s for the strong believe that you’re doing is meaningful and would have (no matter how little or small) touched someone’s life. Do your best and enjoy yourself!

currently suffering from lastyearitis:P, a rather bad case, sort of miss last year like mad, our classrm, our teachers and esp all the funny and memorable things that happened last year. Yes, even miss spire.biggest regret however is that was too lazy to write a diary and also to take photos secretly:( and to make things worse dun have videographic memory;(. Do u guys want to start a class journal rather than blogging:) making it personal to our class alone, so get this massive big book and then every week someone has to take the journal and make an entry on like the week’s events, nothing about marks, results or hw deadline:P enough of those. Photos can be put in side and blah blah blah, like write any crap but at about what happened in sch. This way we can always retain the memories with us for years to come or if u guys dun wanna do it, dun mind doing one for the class:)

HELLO! GUESS WHO I AM! Just a quick update about evvvvverything!!! We survived the first week! Hahaha oh, how do yall find pe man!

Okay some suggestions for the newly elected exco..

WE SHOULD HAVE A SMALL CELEBRATION FOR JAN AND FEB BABIES AND ALSO FOR THE NEW YEAR AHEAD!!!

Besides all that, i think the homework pile is going higher and higher. So obvious they’re trying to start our engines la. Hahahah!!!!!

Dont forget we have LA debate on monday! And the group work on nitrogen cycle!

Oh yeah please get into groups of 5 or 6 for ECONS. There should be 4 groups of 5 and 1 group of 6!!

YO people! its a new year! thus it mean a new beginning , a fresh start, new challenges to conquer, fresh oppurtunities and blah blah blah! But most importantly! bloggy has resurrected from hibernation since oct 2009!

Ok I miss last year like mad:(. the crazy window climbing, late nite sleeping,slacking,mugging,boarding, class lunching, mini class outing,taupokking,meowing,crying,laughing,ponning GC and chinese lecture, adding a PM, OBSing and for some russianing,petitioning,music listening and singing by a choir of brens,debating,pranking(cricket!),road ruining,napfaing,cornwaring,experimenting,SPIREring,teacher joking and liking:P(e.g during LA),CIPing in a waying,assembling,orientating for a week,hugging, canoeing,squashing,floorballing,soccering,mathing and sciencing,guzhenging,softballing,’library club’ and etcing:). It was one year me can never forget.

now the new year is here, what is it going to be like? well here is alist of things i know

- we did not change PM , we lost a PM and somee teachers and have new teachers

- we have a class blog and we are on the 3rd storey!(MORE WALKING:( )

- this is our last year in jh and our O lvl yr for some

- we have a new seating arrangement and new subjects and CIP project by the courtesy of zhi zhi and vani

HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT WILL HAPPEN:

-we are still 02 and we will be 02 forever

- we will still have class lunches, outings and maybe a chalet:P

- this year will be like or better than the last , funny or funnier,nice or nicer, not slack and not slackier:( but one with lovelier memories :D

- love is in the air in and btw classes;), we will bond more as a class;)

-we have a new choir: zhi zhi and bren and bimsy and himsy!

- we shall play an april fools joke on somebody known as +Hr

- we can acheive more in the glory of our youth and we will

- we love 402’10 and 302’09:D forever and ever and ever!

oh and lastly the NE rep will be a very responsible slacker for another year:D

so nite nite homo sapiens and happy new year of sorts:)

SHOVE SHOVE SHOVE!!! This blog is soooooooooo DEADYDEAD!!! WHY??! The last post was like more than a FREAKING MONTH AGO!!! WHY??! Haha… anyway i was given an opportunity to express myself, or just write about my day, or just coordinate my thoughts onto this webpage, or anything else you can pull out of a Hallmark card. So anyway this is me sending out a plea–> Save this blog! Admins don’t flee! So much more this blog can offer, Bond our class and so much others! This shove the first in much to come, end this slog and don’t look down:)

Hello! Ok, firstly, nice job there on friday cause if some of you didnt know, we came in first for the 4by400 race! Hopefully we’ll do well for the 4by100s on wednesday though our timings will be matched with JH4s. In other words, we’re competing with the JH4s. Also, dont forget that the MI assignment deadline is nearing, so better get started ya’ll. Oh and I hope you guys had a good time on Friday, the movie was great, SAY YES! (TO EVERYTHING.) Ahahahaha. Also, those who performed for in the terra dance for NDC, good job there! I think we did well (: Next week is principal’s talk. Regarding the IH field trip, Im not very sure but please check with dino for details. AND PLEASE BRING $3.10 FOR THE IH NOTES ON MONDAY. And if you all have any ideas for class tee, feel free to share. (Sharing is caring.) In the meantime, keep the class clean Thanks and bye.
